Celebrating Seacroft's creativity with ChapelFM and BBC Radio Leeds

Gayle Lofthouse's BBC Radio Leeds show was a live on location Art Doctor special at ChapelFM on 21st July! Local people brought along the tools and materials they use to be creative – including cooking utensils, pencils, gardening tools, paintbrushes and musical instruments – and thought up short phrases that described why creativity was important to them. We used the phrases and objects to create posters and a huge collaborative artwork throughout the show.

Gayle interviewed our contributors and kept checking on how the artwork was developing, as well as finding out about all the amazing creative activity that goes on at ChapelFM. By the end of the show we had documented, visually and orally, the brilliance and breadth of creative activity in Seacroft.

The posters were then printed and displayed at ChapelFM.
